Norm & Dana
Norm Kenneally, photographer, illustrator, self-published author, father of three, and beloved husband of 61 years to Dana. Norm was raised on the south shore of Massachusetts. A cartoonist from high school, college (Stonehill) and through his seven years with the US Navy circumnavigating the globe, he was later bitten by the photography bug and added that to his spare-time tool kit.
While stationed in Florida, he met and fell in love with Dana. They married in 1959 and started a family. After serving six years, the young officer left and went to work in Manhattan where spent most of the next thirty years with a mid-town corporation.
When he finally retired from the corporate world, he devoted his "retirement" to art shows throughout New England. His subjects cover his native New England home and focus on landscapes, ocean scenes and Rockwellian Americana. He now resides in North Carolina with Dana – who I should also mention was a very skilled artist in her day. Norm is still very active with his local gallery, Carolina Artists Gallery, but was more than happy to join me here in the launch of The Painted Moose Gallery website. His past memberships include the Sonoran Art League (Carefree & Scottsdale, Arizona), The Cape Cod Artisans Guild: The Viewfinders Camera Club and the Creative Arts Center (both in Chatham, Mass. – Cape Cod.)
